Solar Energy

I had the opportunity to plug in an charge my car from Day4′s Solar Array at EATart this weekend.  We then used the car to power the theater showing “Who Killed the Electric Car” for their Wavelength Film festival.
It was the first time my car had the chance to charge from perfectly clean electrons.

Sun’s Energy ->  Solar Array  ->  Energy in my Car

It was amazing!  There’s something about knowing exactly where the energy was coming from that made it such a special event. I’ll get into my theories as to why I feel that Solar is the inevitable replacement primary power source of all things on this planet another time. (more…)
